Quiet. Precise. Built To Last.
Dunfell's Single Watch Winder in Black keeps your automatic watch fully wound, beautifully displayed and ready to wear whenever you need it.

Finished in a premium high-gloss piano black lacquer with a soft velvet interior and complimentary plexiglass dust cover, it's designed to look as good as the watch it protects.

Whisper-Quiet By Design
At its heart is a patented stepper motor — independently tested to run quieter and last longer than the standard Mabuchi motors found in most winders.

The result is virtually silent operation, quiet enough for a bedside table, a home office or an open display cabinet.

Designed For Every Automatic Watch
Whether you wear a Rolex, Omega, TAG Heuer, Tudor, Breitling or another automatic timepiece, Dunfell is designed for universal compatibility.

The adjustable pillow fits wrists from 160–223mm (6.2"–8.7") and watches up to 70mm (2.7") in diameter — simply place your watch inside, choose your winding program and let the winder take care of the rest.

Tuned To Your Watch
Five preset speeds from 650 to 1,950 TPD and three rotation modes — clockwise, counter-clockwise or bidirectional — let you match your watch's exact winding requirements.

In bidirectional mode, the selected TPD is shared equally between both directions — it splits the turns rather than doubling them.

Intelligent Winding. Maximum Protection.
Every aspect of Dunfell has been designed to care for your watch as well as keep it running.

The automatic 12 o'clock parking position ensures your watch is perfectly presented whenever you open the lid, while the built-in 12-hour rest cycle prevents unnecessary operation.

Anti-magnetisation protection provides additional peace of mind for valuable mechanical movements.

Built To Fit Your Home
Run Dunfell from the included mains adapter or 4 × AA batteries for up to 7 days of cordless use — giving you complete freedom over where you display your watch, with no cables dictating the spot.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dunfell winders are compatible with virtually all automatic watches, including Rolex, Omega, TAG Heuer, Breitling, Tudor, IWC, Panerai, Seiko and many more.

The adjustable watch pillow fits wrist sizes from 160mm to 223mm (6.2"–8.7"), and watches up to 70mm (2.7") in diameter.

If you're unsure whether your watch will fit, contact us and we'll be happy to confirm compatibility.

No.

Modern automatic watches contain a slipping clutch mechanism that prevents overwinding once the mainspring reaches full tension.

Dunfell winders also incorporate controlled TPD settings and automatic rest phases to replicate natural wear, helping keep your watch wound without unnecessary movement.

An automatic watch is powered by the movement of your wrist. When you're not wearing it, the mainspring gradually unwinds — and once it stops, the time, date and any other functions need resetting before you can wear it again.

A watch winder keeps your watch gently rotating while it's off your wrist, maintaining the power reserve so it's always ready to wear. For watches with complex functions like a perpetual calendar or moon phase — which can take several minutes to reset correctly — a winder isn't just convenient, it protects the movement from unnecessary manual winding.

If you rotate between two or more watches, a winder is essential.

Dunfell winders use an advanced stepper motor that has been independently tested to operate more quietly than standard Mabuchi motors commonly found in many watch winders.

The result is whisper-quiet operation suitable for bedrooms, offices and display cabinets.

Yes.

Dunfell winders are designed for continuous operation and can safely keep your watch wound when it's not being worn.

The programmed winding cycles and automatic rest periods (12 hours) ensure the watch receives only the movement it requires.

TPD stands for turns per day — the number of rotations your winder completes in 24 hours. Different watch movements require different amounts of winding, so using the right TPD setting ensures your watch stays wound without overworking the rotor.

As a general guide:

Rolex — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
Omega — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
TAG Heuer — 650 TPD — Clockwise
Breitling — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
Tudor — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
IWC — 900 TPD — Bidirectional
Panerai — 650 TPD — Clockwise
Seiko (NH35/NH36) — 650 TPD — Bidirectional

All Dunfell winders feature a TPD range to cover virtually every automatic movement on the market. If you're unsure about your specific watch, contact us before setting up and we'll advise you directly.

Yes.

After each winding cycle, the motor automatically parks your watch at the 12 o'clock position, ensuring it is neatly presented and ready to wear whenever you open the unit.

A watch winder contains a small motor that rotates your watch at a controlled speed throughout the day, mimicking the natural movement of being worn on your wrist. This keeps the rotor inside your watch's movement spinning, which in turn winds the mainspring and maintains the power reserve.

All Dunfell winders run a rotation cycle then automatically enter a rest phase — so your watch is wound without the risk of overwinding. All Dunfell winders use whisper quiet motors, quieter than a ticking wristwatch, making it suitable to run on a bedside table or dressing room shelf without any disturbance.

Using a Dunfell winder is straightforward:

  1. Place your watch onto the telescopic pillow - it will adjust itself to fit your wrist size
  2. Set your rotation direction — clockwise, counter-clockwise or bidirectional depending on your watch's movement
  3. Set your TPD (turns per day) — see the 'How many TPD does my watch need' question below for recommended settings by brand
  4. Turn your winder on — it will handle the rest

Your winder will run its cycle then rest automatically for 12 hours — you don't need to turn it off.

Dead silent! Looks great

Instructions/Ease of use: Not much to say, just look up on line the recommended settings for your watch. Mine was 750 TPD and CCW(clockwise and counter clockwise)Looks: Exactly as pictured and gorgeous!!Functionality: Insert works great and fits my watch with plenty of room to go smaller or larger(my band is set to my 7 1/4” wrist). It is deadly quiet, I can’t hear the motor when it turn if I put my ear up to it!!I love the settings, on the setting I use turn for about 10 seconds every couple minutes, for 12 hours and then sits for 12 hours! That should be perfect with out over using the watch!!Would and will buy another one!!!!

Really pleased with this watch winder. I was considering a couple of much more expensive options but decided to give Dunfell a try.

It feels really well made and I can barely hear it running. My Rolex stays wound and ready to wear, which is exactly what I wanted.

No complaints at all.

Great

Got this winder about a week ago. The design is clean, simple, and the quality is excellent. Unlike 90% of the garbage you see for sale, this actually allows you to regulate TPD to avoid overwinding your watch (yes, I know you can't really overwind your modern automatics, but you don't want to always keep them at fully wound coil spring tension). Solid buy, it's one of the best deals you're going to find.

Amazing

The Dunfell watch winder has been a fantastic addition to my collection! It operates quietly and smoothly, keeping my automatic watches perfectly wound and ready to wear. The design is sleek and sophisticated, and it looks great on display. I appreciate the customizable settings, which allow me to adjust the rotation to suit different watches. It’s clear that the build quality is excellent, making this winder both functional and stylish. If you’re looking for a reliable and attractive way to keep your watches in top condition, the Dunfell watch winder is a great choice. Highly recommended!

Seems To Be Doing The Trick

I recently purchased this watch winder, however I do not wear watches everyday, especially my very nice new one. I didn't want to have to re set the watch every time I wore it, and this winder keeps the movements working. It's extremely quiet and has a classy look.Doing some research on line I learnt that over winding is a big problem for these types of watches, I called the manufacturer and made sure I was not causing problems by over winding.

Great for the price

The winder looks very high quality, and I really like how quiet it is, you could easily put this in your bedroom and not even notice that it's there. It has three modes for the winding direction, clockwise, anticlockwise or alternating between the two, and you select from 650, 750, 850, 1000 and 1950 for the count of rotations per day, which should be set depending on the specifications of your watch. The unit comes with AC plug in but also has the option of AA batteries in the bottom
