The Coupé Twin is built for up to 2 automatic watches and finished to be noticed — quilted vegan leather exterior, RGB-lit velvet interior, tempered glass front.

Power comes from a whisper quiet Japanese Mabuchi motor - quiet enough to run overnight without any disturbance, no matter where you place it.

Each rotor is individually programmable via the touchscreen panel or included infrared remote. Set your TPD anywhere from 300 to 2,300, in increments of 50, and choose clockwise, counter-clockwise or bidirectional rotation* to match each movement's requirements.

*Note on bidirectional rotation: when set to bidirectional, your selected TPD is split equally between clockwise and counter-clockwise — it does not double the total turns

After each winding cycle, the motor automatically parks your watch crown at 12 o'clock — so every time you open the unit, your watch is facing up and ready to wear.

The motor then enters a rest phase, keeping your movement healthy without the risk of overwinding. Anti-magnetisation protection keeps sensitive movements safe throughout.

Fits wrists from 100mm to 220mm (3.9"-8.7") and watches up to 58mm (2.28") in diameter.

Guaranteed to wind all automatic watches (Rolex, Omega, TAG and more), backed by our 2-year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dunfell winders are compatible with virtually all automatic watches, including Rolex, Omega, TAG Heuer, Breitling, Tudor, IWC, Panerai, Seiko and many more.

The adjustable watch pillow fits wrist sizes from 160mm to 223mm (6.2"–8.7"), and watches up to 70mm (2.7") in diameter.

If you're unsure whether your watch will fit, contact us and we'll be happy to confirm compatibility.

No.

Modern automatic watches contain a slipping clutch mechanism that prevents overwinding once the mainspring reaches full tension.

Dunfell winders also incorporate controlled TPD settings and automatic rest phases to replicate natural wear, helping keep your watch wound without unnecessary movement.

An automatic watch is powered by the movement of your wrist. When you're not wearing it, the mainspring gradually unwinds — and once it stops, the time, date and any other functions need resetting before you can wear it again.

A watch winder keeps your watch gently rotating while it's off your wrist, maintaining the power reserve so it's always ready to wear. For watches with complex functions like a perpetual calendar or moon phase — which can take several minutes to reset correctly — a winder isn't just convenient, it protects the movement from unnecessary manual winding.

If you rotate between two or more watches, a winder is essential.

Dunfell winders use an advanced stepper motor that has been independently tested to operate more quietly than standard Mabuchi motors commonly found in many watch winders.

The result is whisper-quiet operation suitable for bedrooms, offices and display cabinets.

Yes.

Dunfell winders are designed for continuous operation and can safely keep your watch wound when it's not being worn.

The programmed winding cycles and automatic rest periods (12 hours) ensure the watch receives only the movement it requires.

TPD stands for turns per day — the number of rotations your winder completes in 24 hours. Different watch movements require different amounts of winding, so using the right TPD setting ensures your watch stays wound without overworking the rotor.

As a general guide:

Rolex — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
Omega — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
TAG Heuer — 650 TPD — Clockwise
Breitling — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
Tudor — 650 TPD — Bidirectional
IWC — 900 TPD — Bidirectional
Panerai — 650 TPD — Clockwise
Seiko (NH35/NH36) — 650 TPD — Bidirectional

All Dunfell winders feature a TPD range to cover virtually every automatic movement on the market. If you're unsure about your specific watch, contact us before setting up and we'll advise you directly.

Yes.

After each winding cycle, the motor automatically parks your watch at the 12 o'clock position, ensuring it is neatly presented and ready to wear whenever you open the unit.

A watch winder contains a small motor that rotates your watch at a controlled speed throughout the day, mimicking the natural movement of being worn on your wrist. This keeps the rotor inside your watch's movement spinning, which in turn winds the mainspring and maintains the power reserve.

All Dunfell winders run a rotation cycle then automatically enter a rest phase — so your watch is wound without the risk of overwinding. All Dunfell winders use whisper quiet motors, quieter than a ticking wristwatch, making it suitable to run on a bedside table or dressing room shelf without any disturbance.

Using a Dunfell winder is straightforward:

  1. Place your watch onto the telescopic pillow - it will adjust itself to fit your wrist size
  2. Set your rotation direction — clockwise, counter-clockwise or bidirectional depending on your watch's movement
  3. Set your TPD (turns per day) — see the 'How many TPD does my watch need' question below for recommended settings by brand
  4. Turn your winder on — it will handle the rest

Your winder will run its cycle then rest automatically for 12 hours — you don't need to turn it off.
